Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Wilder Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Providence. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Providence. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
