Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

Clearpath River Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Providence with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
