Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Providence, RI)

Nova Bridge Environmental Services Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 973 people based in Providence. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
