Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Nova Hollow Freight Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 624 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
