Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Rook Press is a printer and publisher in Pittsburgh serving local and national clients, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
