Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Bright Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Phoenix plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
