Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Rowan Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Phoenix region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
