Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Corner Construction is a Phoenix contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
