Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Haven Construction is a Philadelphia contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
