Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Orlando, FL)

Silverline Sable Manufacturing Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms.
