Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Omaha, NE)

Nova Meadow Markets Partners operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Omaha, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
