Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove Juniper Foods Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
