Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

Stonegate Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Oakland region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
