Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Bridge Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
