Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Mill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Oakland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
