Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Glen Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across New Orleans, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
