Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Keystone Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 686 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
