Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Orchard Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
