Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone Haven Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around New Orleans. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
