Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Rook Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
