Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak Harbor Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
