Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Clearpath Willow Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around New Orleans. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
