Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Bright West Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
