Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak Wren Farms Associates is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Knowledge of freight terms.
