Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Cobalt Construction Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
