Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Nashville, TN)

Summit Quill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Nashville focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 242 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service installations. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
