Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Nashville, TN)

Westbrook Meridian Foods produces packaged foods at its Nashville plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
