Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Maple Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
