Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

Foxglove Ashton Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Minneapolis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
