Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

Nova Granite Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Minneapolis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
