Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

Clearpath Linden Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Minneapolis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 302 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
