Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Northwind River Press and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
