Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

Amberfield Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Minneapolis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 948 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
