Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Harbor Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Miami, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in Miami. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
