Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Miami, FL)

Silverline Meadow Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 394 people based in Miami. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries.
