Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Miami, FL)

Bluepeak Cedar Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Miami. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 955 people based in Miami. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
