Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Rook Markets serves neighbourhoods around Memphis with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
