Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Drift Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Madison, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
