Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Madison, WI)

Highbridge River Press is a printer and publisher in Madison serving local and national clients, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
