Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Madison, WI)

Redstone Hollow Foods is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
