Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Summit Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Louisville region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for change orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
