Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Press and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 528 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
