Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Louisville, KY)

Nova Fern Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
