Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Louisville, KY)

Foxglove Vale Markets serves neighbourhoods around Louisville with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
