Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Louisville, KY)

Redstone Thistle Construction is a Louisville contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
