Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Little Rock, AR)

Cedar Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Little Rock plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
