Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Linden Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
