Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Wren Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Las Vegas. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
