Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge Press is a printer and publisher in Knoxville serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
