Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Jacksonville, FL)

Cedar Kestrel Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
